LWV Holds Forum to Packed House for
Port Chester Mayoral Candidates

Together with our new and enthusiastic Port Chester membership we held a very successful candidate forum for Mayoral Candidates Domenick Cicatelli and Dennis Pilla on March 14th at the Thomas Edison Elementary School.

The Forum was facilitated by Bruce Gilchrist of the New Castle League who did an outstanding job moderating the forum. The candidates are also to be commended, they were very cordial, knowledgeable and passionate about their POVs. Please refer to the Journal News article covering the debate. Remember to VOTE on March 20th!

Our chapter plans to hold a forum for PC Village Trustees once the DOJ lawsuit is settled and an election date determined.

Bush & Kerry Get Out The Vote

LWV members handed out the 2004 County Voter's Guide on Purchase Street in Rye. Halloween gave us the incentive to don masks and demonstrate our nonpartisan philosophy. LWV members also visited local schools to hand out the guide with information on county, state and federal candidates, and encourage residents to vote.
